Attention Apocalyptic Gaming Network Players

APOC is currently looking for active, helpful members of the community who wish to become staff. We have many different staff positions available, with different levels of responsibility for each. Below, I will outline the different responsibilities each position has to help you better understand which position you'd be best for.

Chat Moderator (cMod)

Chat Moderators are entry level APOC Staff. Players in this position help manage the chat to stay clean and friendly. cMod's can also act in a helpful capacity via interaction with limited function. Commands to assist players are limited in this rank, but this is only the tip of the iceberg.

Server Moderator (sMod)

Server Moderators are the first level of active help. Players in this position are able to move freely through the world and assist players with any complications they may be facing. Commands and permissions include that of cMod as well as extras to facilitate the dispersal of assistance throughout the servers. Players who are struggling with broken machine setups, bugged monsters/areas, etc. are able to be assisted by players in this rank.

Server Administrator (sAdmin)

Server Administrators are the most active and helpful members of the main staff team. Players in this position have access to most commands our plugins have to offer. Responsibilities are all inclusive. Necessity dictates what you will have to do, ranging from cMod functions to fixing/building protected areas and shops. This is a time and labor demanding position, not meant for everyone.

Network Administrator (nAdmin)

Network Administrators are the bulk of the head staff team. Generally, this position is acquired by being promoted from within due to its intensive nature. Along with the responsibilities of sAdmin, players in this rank are also responsible for the following:

  • Maintaining active presence on all media (Enjin, Discord, TS, Skype)
  • Maintaining active presence on the servers
  • Ensuring servers are running as intended
    • TPS is a steady 20
    • No server lag/disconnect/down time
  • Maintaining the HUB and server spawn
  • Maintaining the website
  • Answering support tickets in a timely and professional manner
  • Up to date knowledge of the current plugins and mods running on APOC
  • Hosting staff meetings
  • Promoting the further development of APOC
